The Watchtower teaches that Jesus (Michael the Archangel) is the first and greatest creation of Jehovah God, not eternal deity.
Why This Matters
If Jesus is merely a spirit creature, the bodily resurrection collapses. Yet records Thomas touching the nail marks in Jesus' risen hands and the wound in his side — the same body that died. Jesus himself said, 'A spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have' (). The Watchtower teaches Jesus' body was dissolved and he was re-created as a spirit creature — but Thomas met the same Jesus, with the same wounds, in the same body.
